A small exercise I made during holidays (two weeks worth). I wondered how quickly I could make a game-ready character and gear and tackle the challenges of modular concepting and moddeling.
Every character is made out of a Head (~600 tris), Upper Body (~1600 tris) and Lower Body (~600 tris), every set took 2 days to make (1st day: Concepting, Sculpting, 2nd day: Low Poly, UV, Texturing). The guns were made in approximately one day (~1k tris). My tris budget for the whole character + guns + gear was somewhere below 5k. All textures were 512x512 and was a blast to make.
This project depicts a trio of survirors in a soviet era apocalyptic scenario.
